Rich in history & tradition, Rawley’s property is the successor of Christie’s Lumber Mill, a local hub which operated during the 19th Century and created white pine lumber from the vast riverside forests. By 1922, Edgar Otto Rawson, a civil engineer, his wife Mabel, and her brother James Gawley built a 3-storey fishing lodge on the property. Camp Rawley was home to decades of memories made by land & boat travelers through the region. In 2005, the original building was restored but the Rawley tradition remains. Next year marks a century of Rawley & we invite you to join
us as we celebrate 100 years.
