our history

Immerse yourself in the serene ambiance of Rawley Resort, Spa & Marina, a property steeped in history.

 

Originally Christie's Lumber Mill in the 19th century, it became a 3-storey fishing lodge in 1922, built by Edgar Otto Rawson, his wife Mabel, and her brother James Gawley.

 

Decades of memories were made here by travelers passing through the region. Restored in 2005, the lodge preserves its rich heritage. Join us next year as we celebrate 100 years of the Rawley tradition.
