Rawley Resort Exterior Lighthouse

the story of Rawley Resort

2022 marks a century of Rawley and we invite you to join us as celebrate 100 years. Rich in history & tradition, Rawley’s property is the successor of Christie’s Lumber Mill, a local hub which operated during the 19th Century and created white pine lumber from the vast riverside forests. By 1922, Edgar Otto Rawson, a civil engineer, his wife Mabel, and her brother James Gawley built a 3-storey fishing lodge on property. Camp Rawley was home to decades of memories made by land and boat travelers through the region. In 2005, the original building was restored but Rawley tradition remains.
