Things are getting a little sweeter up here! Tap Into Maple 2018 does that. It’s that time of year when we celebrate all things maple across Orillia, Oro-Medonte, Rama, Ramera and Severn. Until April 30th, experience the “sweetest route” in Ontario’s Lake Country with 14 stops, ranging from local maple syrup producers, attractions, family activities, restaurants and cafes, all with maple-inspired goodies, local syrup and homemade goods.
The Tap into Maple driving route showcases our region’s local maple syrup, maple products and events. It’s your chance to experience maple history, taste local maple cuisine, and create your own maple products. We at Rawley are proud to say that we are one of the sweet stops on the route!
From producers to restaurants, cafes to museums, there’s something for everyone at Tap Into Maple – you can get outside and tour a sugar bush, enjoy local maple cuisine, learn about cooking with maple products, take a horse-drawn wagon ride and bring home sweet treats to enjoy all year long! Here are some of the highlights, just a short drive from the resort:
Okay, so this stop takes no driving. Stay for the weekend and take in all the activities or make it a date night and share a sweet treat at our restaurant. Enjoy our signature maple dessert, a Maple Syrup Donut with a dark chocolate glaze. Served with homemade, Maple Syrup Ice Cream Fridays and Saturdays 5 to 9pm. Here’s a coupon for 10% off. So now that you have a comfortable stay and a decadent dessert, let’s explore the route.
